Teaching Assistant Position
The Glens Falls City School District has anticipated openings for a 10-month, 6.5 hour-per-day Teaching Assistant.
General responsibilities include:
- Providing a structured learning experience and atmosphere in the classrooms assigned.
- Covering in the teacher's absence and providing a structured learning experience.
- Assisting with activities, supervising the children, maintaining the classroom and other areas, assisting in developing good health standards and appropriate social habits, and filling in for other staff as needed.
