Team Impact The ultrasound technologist will work directly with radiologists/cardiologists to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures that require judgment and ingenuity while responding to any of the patient's special, physical, emotional, spiritual and/or age-specific related needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality ultrasound exams with the appropriate technical skills and according to the established procedure protocols.
• Provides for appropriate patient care, safety, education, and an exceptional customer service experience during procedures.
• Maintains appropriate documentation of patient records
• Presents appropriate filming and technical findings of ultrasound scans to the radiologist/cardiologist.

Education/Accredited Programs

• Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound Program

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations

• ARDMS or ARRT registered or registry eligible in an Ultrasound discipline (i.e.OB/GYN, ABD, Breast or Cardiac Echo). Eligible candidates must obtain certification within two years of hire date.
• CPR Certified

Skills/Abilities

• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, students, staff, and physicians.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety of people.
• Ability to coach and teach at the adult level.
• Ability to promote and work in a team setting.
• Possess strong skills in:

Salary Range The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $37.07 - $55.61per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
