As of 1/1/24 - all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance. Facility As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle - (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI -

Average daily census: 20 patients
RN to patient ratio: 1:9 (depending on census)
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Average stay length
: 5-7 days
EMR: Cerner

RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!
NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Dress Code:
Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.
Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs
Multipliers (OT, Holiday): 1.25%

• Minimum 2+ years of Behavioral Heath Unit experience - Required
• Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Patients - Required
• Recent travel experience
• Experience with de-escalation of agitated patients
• De-Escalation Training of any kind, CPI or NAPPI/Welle Certifications- REQUIRED
• EPIC experience required
• Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.

Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc...

Profile Requirements:

• Work History
• Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
• License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS and CPI - Facility will not pend license/certs)

Permanent address must be included in profile. Address must match Driver License/State  will be validated during compliance process.
Travelers from the following counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls (Perm address must be included in profile):

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• BLS (AHA)
• CPI

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
License must be active at time of submission!
Weekend Requirements :
Every Other Weekend/Holiday rotation required
On Call Requirements :
