Position: Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) (Days) Glens Falls NY
In this position, you will be an important member of the patient care team. The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for management and delivery of patient care to assigned patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and within the scope of practice delineated in the New York State Nurse Practice Act. Provides direct patient care, delegates/assigns responsibility as appropriate to others, and serves as leader of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with and under the direction of the attending physician.

As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle - (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI -

• COVID vaccinations encouraged, but not required.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified  REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better) Must be available to work holidays as needed.
Dress Code:
Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.

Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs
Multipliers (OT, Holiday, Call-Back): 1.25%
Call: 4.00

Requirement description :

• 2+ years of PACU Experience - Required
• Experience with AM admissions/blocks and recovery - Required
• Procedural sedation experience - Required
• EPIC Experience - Required
• Previous travel
  - Highly Preferred
• Please disclose any previous Glens Falls Hospital (or Albany Med) experience on profile
• Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.

• 1 Supervisory Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
• License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, PERM ADDRESS - Facility will not pend license/certs)

On Call Requirements : 2 Shifts per Month
