As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle - (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI -

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab provides care to both the acute inpatient population as well as the elective outpatient population. Care is primarily provided within the Cardiovascular Lab located on the 4th floor of the Pruyn Pavilion at Glens Falls Hospital. Staff is available 24/7 for any emergency procedure during off hours, weekends, and holidays. Care is provided through an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians, registered clinical nurses, registered radiology technologists, and cardiovascular technologists.

• Positions and immobilizes patient on examining table following specified protocols.
• Continuous assessment of patient hemodynamics.
• Performs conscious sedation.
• Mix and maintain IV/IC infusion and bolus.
• Alerts Physician to changes in patient responses.
• Assists Physician in interventional procedures.
• Recovery of patient to Phase I.

Dress Code:
Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.

Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs
Multipliers (OT, Holiday): 1.25%

Requirement description :

• 2 years or more CURRENT Cath Lab experience - Required
• 2+ yrs experience in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures - Required
• Moderate Sedation Certified - Highly Preferred
• Cath and peripheral experience, STEMI and STEMI call experience - REQUIRED
• Proficiency interpreting EKG & Hemodynamic pressure tracings - Required
• Conscious sedation experience - Required
• IV experience - Required
• EP experience - Highly Preferred
• Traveler must have their own vehicle

Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc...

Profile Requirements:

• Work History
• Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
• License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, PERM ADDRESS - Facility will not pend license/certs)

Permanent address must be included in profile. Address must match Driver License/State  will be validated during compliance process.
Travelers from the following counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls (Perm address must be included in profile):

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

Weekend Requirements :
Every 4th weekend
On Call Requirements : 1-2 nights per week
