Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in New York requiring EPIC experience and strong cardiac/telemetry skills.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit,

• Primary patient population includes cardiac and telemetry cases,

• Neuro and stroke case experience is highly preferred,

• Role requires interpreting, measuring, and documenting cardiac rhythms twice per shift,

• EPIC EMR system is used and prior experience is required,

• Block scheduling is not permitted,

Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license required,

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience in Med/Surg Tele or Cardiac/Tele units required,

• Proven competency with interpreting cardiac rhythms is required,

• Prior travel experience is highly preferred,

• Neuro or stroke unit experience is highly preferred,

• Own vehicle required for work commute,

Additional Information

• Candidates must be able to reliably meet attendance and unit reliability standards,

• A 14-panel drug screen must be completed within 24 hours of offer acceptance,

• No more than 5 days of time off (RTO) can be requested for this assignment,

• Compliance with all medical and vaccination requirements is mandatory,

• Candidates with previous employment at Glens Falls Hospital or Albany Med must disclose this information,
