EPIC EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED   – MUST BE CLEARLY NOTED ON SUBMISSION

New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate is REQUIRED

Must be uploaded with traveler profile at submission

Required by NY State to staff temporary assignments

Submissions without this license will not be considered

14-Panel Drug Screen Required

Must be completed within 24 hours of offer acceptance

Please verify your agency can perform the entire panel prior to submission

Mandatory De-Escalation Training (Effective 1/1/2024)

One of the following required for onboarding:

Welle   Training (Verbal De-Escalation bundle required)

CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)

Patient Population:
Adult   – Geriatric

Unit Type:
Telemetry / Cardiac (Remote Tele Unit)

Number of Beds: 16

RN-to-Patient Ratio: 4:1

Shift Expectations:

Must interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms twice per shift

Dress Code:
Personal scrubs (any solid color)

No designs, cartoons, or hoodies

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS   :

Non-Billable Orientation: 8 hours

Overtime & Holiday Rate: 1.25x

Cancellation Policy:

Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract

2-hour notice required   TIME OFF POLICY

Requested Time Off (RTO) must be declared at submission

NO RTO requests accepted after submission

Maximum allowed RTO: 5 days (less is preferred)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS   :

Minim  a  m   3 years RN experience

Strong Cardiac/Telemetry & Med-Tele experience

EPIC EMR experience (REQUIRED)

Ability to independently interpret and document cardiac rhythms

Traveler must have own vehicle

Reliable clinician with excellent attendance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS   :

Previous travel nursing experience

Neuro / Stroke experience

Previous experience at Glens Falls Hospital or Albany Medical Center (must be disclosed)
