Salary/PayRate/Compensation: $21.00 per hour

- Setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion press machines to produce extruded metal parts to required specifications
- Loading billets into the extrusion press and ensuring proper alignment and setup
- Monitoring extrusion speeds, temperatures, pressures, and other process parameters
- Inspecting products for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality using measuring tools
- Adjusting machine controls to correct deviations and maintain consistent output
- Performing saw cutting, trimming, or finishing of extruded products as required
- Operating cranes, forklifts, and other equipment to handle billets, dies, and finished products
- Recording production data and inspection results in work orders or ERP systems
- Cleaning and maintaining extrusion equipment, dies, and work areas
- Following all company safety procedures and supporting a culture of workplace safety
- Have a High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Bring previous experience in extrusion press operation or heavy machine operation in a metals manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical instructions
- Are proficient with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Can interpret production drawings, work orders, and specifications
- Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Possess effective communication skills and a hands-on approach to problem solving
- Can work in hot and noisy industrial environments, stand, bend, and move for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Are committed to wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection
