Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in New York, requiring an active NY RN license and prior IR experience.

• Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology department
• Care for adolescent to geriatric patients
• Trauma Level I environment
• Use of Cerner and McKesson EMR systems
• Procedural sedation, circulation, and recovery phase responsibilities
• Floating required to Cardiac Cath Lab
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Daily responsibilities include procedural sedation, patient circulation, and post-procedure recovery care
• Assignments may include supporting procedures and patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Hospital-provided scrubs must be worn
• No more than 5 days of requested time off are permitted

• Active NY RN license required
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• Previous Interventional Radiology experience required
• Experience with adolescent through geriatric patients required
• Experience with procedural sedation, circulation, and recovery required
• Must be willing to float to Cardiac Cath Lab
• COVID vaccination required
• Previous travel nurse experience highly preferred
