We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Oncology to provide exceptional care in Glens Falls, NY. • Position: Registered Nurse – Oncology
• Location: Glens Falls
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 5x8
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Weekly Pay: $2640 to $2840

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, and supportive treatments
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
• Safely administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, IV medications, and supportive therapies in accordance with established protocols
• Monitor patients for treatment effectiveness, adverse reactions, and changes in clinical condition
• Educate patients and families regarding cancer diagnoses, treatment plans, medication management, symptom control, and self-care strategies
• Manage central venous access devices, including PICC lines, ports, and central venous catheters
• Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and oncology care standards
• Deliver compassionate emotional support while advocating for patients and their families throughout their treatment journey

• Active New York RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent Oncology nursing experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification preferred
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card preferred
• Experience administering chemotherapy and managing oncology patients
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
• Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered oncology care
