Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses to provide surgical patient care across various specialties. Candidates will assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions before, during, and after surgical procedures in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ physical and emotional status prior to surgery.
• Maintain a sterile environment and coordinate surgical team activities.
• Educate patients on pre and post-operative care requirements.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs throughout the surgical continuum.
• Collaborate with surgical teams experienced in vascular, orthopedic, trauma, and gen surg cases.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of current OR experience.
• Valid New York State RN license and certifications uploaded with profile.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Strong vascular, orthopedic, trauma, or general surgery skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Scrub and circulate experience preferred.
