Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Overview

River Academy of Excellence is a private academic school, providing services to students in grades K-8. We are committed to providing innovative, individualized, and empowering education to meet the unique needs of each and every student. The Academy is hiring a full-time Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dedicated team of individuals. Your role will be to provide quality therapeutic services in the small private school setting (6-12 students).

As a member of our River Academy of Excellence team, you will work with other therapeutic staff, teachers, family members, school district personnel, and report to our administration staff.

• Provide daily behavioral therapy services and support to those students identified as requiring services
• Complete Functional Behavior Assessments
• Complete daily documentation
• Assist River Academy of Excellence staff, providing education on behaviors, and collaborate on techniques to help each student thrive in the school setting
• Maintain communication with families and staff for the betterment of each student
• Regular meetings with administration staff to discuss caseloads, answer questions, and promote overall employment success
• Promote a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment for students and families

• We are accepting the following credentials for this position: BCBA
• Licensed or certified in Behavior in Pennsylvania
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and challenging behaviors
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional and positive work ethic
• Passion for the field of school-based behavioral therapy services
