Painter – Manufacturing Environment

Location:

Glenshaw, PA

Schedule:

Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $23.00/hour (based on experience)
TOPS Staffing is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Glenshaw, PA to hire a Painter for a first‑shift opportunity. This role is ideal for candidates with industrial or production painting experience who take pride in high‑quality finishes, safety, and consistency. In this position, you’ll be responsible for preparing and painting components used in architectural products installed in public spaces across the country.

This is a hands‑on role offering steady hours, competitive pay, and long‑term career growth potential.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and pre‑treating materials prior to painting
  • Apply wet paint and protective/anti‑rust coatings to manufactured components
  • Operate and maximize efficiency of paint booths
  • Mix paints and assist with color matching as required
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
  • Maintain painting equipment according to standard operating procedures
  • Request paint, wear items, and consumables as needed
  • Follow all safety, quality, and environmental guidelines
Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or production painting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
  • Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills
  • Experience with specialized coatings or advanced painting techniques
  • Basic knowledge of paint mixing and color matching
  • Familiarity with industrial paint booths and spray equipment
Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work comfortably in a production environment.
