Position:
Woodshop Machine Operator Shift Options:
Sunday-Wednesday OR Wednesday-Sunday Shift Time: 5am-3:30pm Pay Rate: $19-$22hr based on experience

As a Woodshop Machine Operator in our dynamic Pittsburgh manufacturing team, you ll play a crucial part in producing high-quality wood components for high-profile commercial and public projects worldwide. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and become a key contributor to our innovative team.
- Operate a range of woodworking machinery including saws, planers, routers, sanders, and CNC equipment to produce precise wood components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate manufacturing.
- Measure, cut, shape, and finish wood materials to exact specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment to maintain peak performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.
- Lift up to 50 pounds as required in daily operations.
- Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, routers, and sanders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and finishing wood components.
- Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Previous experience working in a woodshop or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with company-specific machinery or technical software.
- Certification in woodworking or manufacturing safety training.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in woodworking or manufacturing roles highly desirable.
