Position:
Punch Press Operator
Shift: Monday - Friday (7am-3:30pm)
Location:
Glenshaw, PAPay: $19.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience

Join a renowned designer and manufacturer at the forefront of architectural and site product innovation, serving high-profile commercial and public projects worldwide. TOPS Staffing is recruiting an experienced Punch Press Operator for a manufacturing company in Glenshaw, PA. This position is responsible for setting up and operating punch press equipment to produce high-quality metal components according to drawings and production specifications.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate mechanical or hydraulic punch press equipment.
Install, align, and change punches, dies, and related tooling.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and basic technical drawings.
Load and position sheet metal or other materials into the press.
Adjust machine settings based on material type and production requirements.
Inspect completed parts for proper dimensions, appearance, and overall quality.
Use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Identify equipment or quality issues and make basic operating adjustments.
Maintain accurate production counts and complete required documentation.
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
Follow all safety procedures, including proper machine-guarding and lockout/tagout practices.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
Previous punch press, stamping press, or metal-fabrication experience preferred.
Experience performing machine setups and tooling changes is highly desirable.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining quality standards.
Comfortable working around industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Reliable attendance and willingness to work as part of a production team.
