Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
  • Oversee staff accountants and interns; provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Conduct technical tax research and prepare memoranda documenting findings.
  • Assist in tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and support client goals.
  • Review work papers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm standards.
  • Identify and resolve tax issues; communicate findings and recommendations to managers and partners.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and high-quality service.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
  • Participate in engagement budgeting, scheduling, and workflow management.
  • Support business development activities, including participation in proposals and client presentations.
  • Keep current with changes in tax laws and regulations.
