Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the growing team. This position will give you the ability to jump start your accounting career and work on a hybrid schedule.

Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss and tax liability on a monthly basis.

• Perform general ledger analysis.
• Prepare daily reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies
• Record promotional items and expense deductions.
• Manage customer rebate programs and reporting requests.

Reconcile monthly bank accounts.

• Reconcile offsite inventory levels.
• Prepare and files sales tax returns.
• Process journal entries for general ledger accounts.
• Update and maintain balance sheet schedules.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and department scanning requests.
• Assist in year-end audit preparation.
• Ad hoc projects.

• Bachelors in Accounting
