Job Summary
The Front Desk Team Member is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming, friendly, and efficient experience. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests, processing transactions, answering questions, and providing top-notch customer service at all times. This role combines cashier duties with guest service responsibilities to ensure every guest leaves with a smile.
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest warmly and create a positive first impression.
- Process payments quickly and accurately using the POS system.
- Answer guest questions about products, services, and promotions.
- Recommend items and upsell when appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
- Assist in maintaining adequate stock levels of items needed for guest transactions (wristbands, tickets, merchandise, etc.).
- Support other team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all cash handling and operational procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Leadership.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Positive, friendly, and engaging personality with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with constant guest interaction.
- Strong multitasking abilities and willingness to assist in other areas as needed.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Move about the facility, bend, and reach as needed.
- Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
