Glenbrook South High School is seeking an Instructional Assistant - Advanced Support:
Permanent Substitute.

The Instructional Assistant - Advanced Support:
Permanent Substitute will directly support student instruction in the classroom or resource area setting. The staff member will be assigned to one, or a combination, of the following:
Classroom Instructional Support, Resource Area Tutoring Support, Personal Care Support, Classroom Teacher Substitute, 1:1 Student Support Substitute and Classroom Instructional Assistant Substitute. Assignments will vary on a daily basis.

Essential

Education and/or Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a content area taught within the school district is required.
• Valid Substitute License required. Professional Educator License preferred.
• Experience working with adolescents.
• Experience in an educational environment is preferred.
• A desire for continued professional development is essential.
