As an FP&A Financial Analyst at Brady
PLUS, you'll provide essential financial and operational analysis across all business units. You’ll collaborate with various departments including Sales, Category Management, Operations, Strategy, Human Resources, and Logistics. This role calls for a proactive, results‑driven individual with a background in financial planning and analysis or accounting.
- Analytics & Reporting:
Deliver insights on sales and margin trends, financial drivers, and profitability analysis for customers and business units. Lead special projects aimed at enhancing operational and financial performance. - Monthly Reports & Presentations:
Prepare materials for Senior Leadership meetings and quarterly business unit reviews to ensure data‑driven decision‑making. - Financial Studies:
Assist in preparing forecasts, financial plans, and variance analyses. Provide actionable recommendations based on findings. - Budgeting Support:
Contribute to the forecasting and annual budgeting process by consolidating financial data, creating detailed budgeting templates, and suggesting strategies for financial planning. - Ad Hoc Analysis:
Conduct analyses as needed to support various business partners. - Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. - Experience:
Previous experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is advantageous. - Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to solve complex problems.
- Microsoft Excel:
Advanced proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros a plus). - Microsoft PowerPoint:
Intermediate skills in formatting and presenting data. - Microsoft Word:
Intermediate skills for document preparation. - Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Project Management:
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple high‑profile projects effectively. - Ability to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in person.
- Ability to pass job‑related employment screenings.
The pay range for this role is $60,000–$75,000 per year. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
