Job Description

The Finance Manager will have a strong understanding of financial processes within a large multinational corporate environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated analytical skills, and be able to work independently. The Finance Manager will report to the Director, Corporate Accounting and work closely with members of Company’s executive and corporate management team.

Core Responsibilities of Corporate Accounting Team:
The Corporate Accounting team is responsible for the reporting, planning and forecasting of a $400M combined P&L and other Corporate investments. It serves as the main accounting contact for all Corporate departments and has significant interaction/collaboration with External Reporting, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Risk Management and HR/Payroll.

Core Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Finance Manager will initially include:

  • Manages all activities related to equity compensation including implementation of automated reporting tool (Fidelity), recording of general ledger activity and review of annual shared-based compensation reporting for Form 10-K and proxy.
  • Assists in preparation and review of quarterly reporting package for Corporate ledger including detailed analysis of assigned caption lines.
  • Leads assigned projects to implement best practices and direct change management initiatives to increase efficiency of department procedures and processes.
  • Participates in annual budget process including consolidation and analysis of Corporate departments.
  • Ad-hoc analysis of department expenditures and results as requested.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA or advanced degree preferred

Minimum 8 years of relevant corporate and/or industry experience

Good working knowledge of US GAAP specifically ASC 718 and ASC 470

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment are essential

Strong analytical skills and business/financial acumen

Attention to detail, with high standards of accuracy and review

Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task project environment

Ability to execute projects efficiently and effectively with limited supervision

High-level of computer proficiency;
Oracle HFM, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and SQL a plus
