Salary range: $41.00 – $53.30 per hour. Placement within the range is based on relevant work experience, internal equity, and, for unionized positions, the collective bargaining agreement.

Description

This is a full‑time, 40‑hour week position located at the Outpatient Glenview clinic, scheduled Monday through Friday. The role requires two evening shifts until 7 pm per week. Applicants must possess Illinois licensure and outpatient experience.

The Physical Therapist supports the nation’s leading clinical talent in medical innovation, research, and patient care. This position includes direct patient care, teaching, committee participation, and departmental process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, timely information and updates to patients and customers; address questions promptly or direct them to appropriate resources.

  • Demonstrate teamwork by helping coworkers across departments and communicate effectively, respecting diverse opinions.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement opportunities and processes.
  • Participate in cost‑reduction efforts and process streamlining.

  • Perform evaluations, treatment modalities, and re‑evaluations per departmental guidelines, documenting in the electronic medical record.
  • Maintain documentation compliance: progress notes, discharge summaries, and daily notes reflecting treatment response and plan status.
  • Provide patient‑appropriate educational materials and methods.
  • Participate in committees, departmental processes, and special projects per clinical expertise.
  • Build professional relationships with healthcare team members and engage in internal and external marketing.
  • Create a culture of respectful communication, active listening, and timely acknowledgment of contributions.
  • Accept constructive feedback and implement changes as evidenced by coaching forms and audits.
  • Complete non‑patient responsibilities—coverage notes, PTO/schedule requests, bonus forms—within established timelines.
  • Contribute to educational efforts: in‑services, journal clubs, new hire orientation, professional improvement.
  • Serve as a clinical instructor, mentor, or observation host in student clinical or observation programs as needed.
  • Maintain productivity standards set by the department.
  • Be willing to flex schedule or assignment to meet care needs and staff or departmental meetings outside normal hours.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois.
  • BLS from American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred
  • Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy.
