Glenview, IL – hybrid opportunity to work remote up to 1 day a week to start
Salary Range$75,000 to $90,000
Position DescriptionCurrently, we are seeking a driven and determined individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist. The HR Generalist will support all areas of HR including HR operations such as payroll and benefits administration, talent acquisition and onboarding, employee relations, staff events, and compliance.

- Analytical – Collects and researches data and solves problems. Able to calculate simple math calculations such as pr orations.
- Initiative – Generates ideas, proposes plans, and puts them into action.
- Business Acumen – Understands business implications of decisions; aligns work with strategic goals.
- Judgement – Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions; includes appropriate people in decision‑making process.
- Confidentiality – Able to handle sensitive employee information as well as employee situations.
- Approachable – Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; promotes a harassment‑free environment.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business, from a four‑year college or university and/or equivalent work experience.
- Two to ten years of work experience in a human resources and/or financial role.
- HR Certification (HRCI or SHRM) or plans to pursue certification preferred.
- Knowledge of HRIS, Payroll, and Benefit Administration systems;
Paychex experience preferred. - Understanding and experience working with payroll concepts such as taxation, deductions, retirement plan limits, and employer legal requirements (i.e. FMLA, EEO‑1 reporting, required trainings by state, etc.).
