CNC Setup Operator​/Programmer

CNC Setup Operator / Programmer – Setup operator programs and operates CNC (Computer numerically controlled) equipment;
Assists and trains operators in setup and how to run various operations;
Interprets and communicates all manufacturing operations and work instructions for the area;
Provides assistance in assessing worker job performance and may provide performance coaching and feedback;
Assists in ensuring that all safety standards are met;
Assists in ensuring that all productivity and efficiency standards are met;
Reads and interprets drawings; performs assembly duties in the assigned areas as needed;
Uses all assembly tools in the assigned area of responsibility and changes settings as required;
Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Supervisor.
Salary: $50,731/year.
Requirements: 3 months of experience working in a manufacturing environment and experience in a supervisory or setup role;
Implementing procedures and work instructions;
Certified CNC Machinist.
The position is based in Glenview, IL.
