Children's Ministries Coordinator

We're looking for a children's ministries coordinator to support our North Shore campus by helping create a safe, engaging and Christ-centered environment where children can grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing details, building relationships and serving alongside volunteers to make ministry happen.

• Coordinate and lead Sunday morning and mid-week Awana children's ministry programs and volunteer schedules
• Welcome and connect with new families, helping them feel known and cared for
• Serve as the primary liaison for volunteers and parents
• Manage the parent-child check-in system and maintain child records
• Order and maintain classroom supplies and teaching materials
• Assist with Orchard Kids Pray First and other children's ministry events
• Help ensure classrooms are staffed appropriately and ministry environments are ready each week

• A growing follower of Jesus with a solid understanding of the gospel
• Alignment with the EFCA Statement of Faith and The Orchard's Statement on Human Life and Marriage
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and learn new technology
• A positive, servant-hearted attitude and passion for serving children and families

• 40 hours per week – expected availability includes Sundays, 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Tuesdays, 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Pay: $20-$23 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Our growing church has 2,000+ members with a weekly worship attendance of about 3,000 across six congregations.
