American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring EKG proficiency and an active IL RN license.
Details- Med/Surg Tele unit handling boarded patients within the ED (not direct ED patients)
- Float to other Med/Surg units when not needed in the ED
- 12-hour day shifts, 7a-7:30p
- Every-other weekend requirement
- Holiday coverage as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- Active IL RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Must pass EKG competency test
- Minimum 2+ years of experience required, 4+ years preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- New graduates will not be considered
- Provide care to boarded Med/Surg Tele patients within the ED and float to other units as needed
- EKG monitoring and interpretation skills required for this role
