Food& Beverage
The Food & Beverage team ensures a consistent guest experience by keeping product fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced. They lead food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing for all Food and Beverage areas of the store.
Barista Responsibilities- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by crafting beverages and food while prioritizing guests.
- Uphold Starbucks brand standards and food safety standards.
- Execute food and beverage processes, including deliveries, replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, instocks and backstock.
- Maintain awareness of all promotional activities within Starbucks.
- Support Drive‑Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time.
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests all day, every day.
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations based on Starbucks standards.
- Produce items to specifications on production cards and follow specific department routines.
- Monitor and record temperature‑sensitive food items and complete all cleaning tasks.
- Follow proper packaging, labeling and food safety requirements and identify damaged, recalled or expired items.
- Ensure accurate in‑stocks by placing store‑initiated orders and following perishable inventory procedures.
- Execute sampling best practices, create a welcoming experience and greet all guests authentically.
- Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive‑up (DU) while maintaining compliance culture.
- All other duties based on business needs.
- Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
- Work independently and with a team, resolving guest questions quickly on the spot.
- Attention to detail and follow multi‑step processes.
- Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders and lift up to 44 pounds.
- Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
- Ability to work in environments ranging from 34°F to –10°F and with allergens.
- Remain mobile during scheduled shift; shift length may vary.
