• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to the daily menu and dietary guidelines.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food storage and handling.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including dishes, countertops, appliances, and equipment.
• Strictly follow allergy and dietary restriction requirements.
• Assist with mealtime setup and cleanup in classrooms or dining areas.
• Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, meal counts, and inventory.
• Monitor and restock kitchen supplies as needed.
• Comply with health department and daycare licensing regulations.
• Communicate with staff about mealtime schedules, dietary needs, and kitchen updates.
• Clean and sanitize common areas, including hallways and restrooms, to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks and support overall facility cleanliness.

• Experience in food preparation, kitchen work, or facility cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
