Reports to: Riverview K-8 School Principal

Classification: Certified Exempt - Part-Time (0.5 FTE / 20 hours per week)

Contract Period: 185 + 10 additional working days

• The Roaring Fork School District (RFSD) offers full district paid employee health benefits, including medical, life, voluntary vision, dental, and dependent coverage. • The Dean of Culture plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and productive school environment. This position focuses on creating and upholding a school culture that promotes respect, accountability, equity, and high expectations for students and staff. The Dean of Culture works closely with faculty, administrators, students, and families to foster a supportive and engaging environment that enhances student success both academically and socially.

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• An active Colorado License or the ability to obtain.

• Prior experience in education, with a strong background in student behavior management, school culture initiatives, or social-emotional learning. Leadership or administrative experience is highly desirable.
• Develop and implement strategies to cultivate a positive and inclusive school culture where students feel safe, valued, and motivated.
• Establish and enforce behavioral expectations and school norms, ensuring they align with the values of respect, responsibility, and community.
• Create programs and initiatives that promote social-emotional learning (SEL) and student well-being.
• Actively promote a school environment that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.
