- Core responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT imaging with attention to patient safety and comfort; determine and apply appropriate scanning protocols; manage contrast administration in accordance with facility guidelines; monitor and minimize radiation exposure using best-practice shielding and dose-reduction techniques; ensure optimal image quality, correct labeling, and accurate documentation in the imaging information system; collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to coordinate care across the imaging department;
participate in routine quality assurance and preventive maintenance checks, contributing to department-wide QA initiatives; assist with patient management and education, particularly for anxious or pediatric populations; and support cross-training to broaden technical competencies within imaging modalities as needed. - Growth and development:
