Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Overview

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

As a cardiac catheterization lab nurse (RN CCL), you will assist physicians in performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures, such as cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, and angioplasties. Your duties will range from prepping patients for their procedure and ensuring informed consent to monitoring vital signs and administering IVs. During the procedure, you will assist the physician, monitor and assess the patient and administer medications as needed.

Afterwards, you will stay with the patients until they are stabilized to be transferred or discharged.

• Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Prep patients for procedures and obtain informed consent
• Monitor vital signs and administer IVs
• Assist during procedures, monitor and assess patients, and administer medications as needed
• Provide post-procedure care and ensure patient stabilization before transfer or discharge

• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
• Active RN license
