Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med-Surg position in acute care, requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least three years of experience.

Job Details

• Work in an acute care hospital setting on an adult Med-Surg and Observation unit,

• Patient population includes acute and chronic illnesses, post-orthopedic surgery, and patients undergoing Hybrid Cath Lab procedures,

• 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation,

• On-call required: one call shift per two-week period as needed,

• Must be willing to float to Intermediate Care/CCU if needed,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license for Colorado or a compact state,

• At least three years of Med-Surg RN experience required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association,

• At least two years of recent acute care, Med-Surg, or telemetry RN experience,

• Proof of flu vaccination is required with no exemptions allowed,

• Permanent residence must be at least 75 miles from the facility,

• Responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, coordinating patient treatment, and utilizing specialized knowledge of critical disease states,

• May be required to provide Intermediate Care in CCU based on patient needs,

• Team-oriented environment with growing census due to seasonal increase in procedures and surgeries,
