American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Acute Care/OBS position in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience and an active CO or Compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Acute care/med-surg adult and observation unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes orthopedic surgery, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illness cases
- Sub-modalities include med-surg adult, observation, and telemetry med/surg
- 12‑hour day shifts with a weekend rotation
- On‑call rotation required: 1 call shift per 2‑week period if requested due to staffing needs
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the nursing process
- DOB or SSN required for consideration
- Local candidates are not eligible for this position
- Active CO or Compact RN license currently in hand (must be verified via Nursys)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care, Med/Surg, or telemetry RN experience required
- Flu vaccine required—no exemptions
- Candidate’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
