Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D)

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D), you will be responsible for caring for women during childbirth. You will work alongside physicians to provide support and guidance throughout the labor and delivery process. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety and well‑being of both the mother and baby.

• Monitor the progress of labor and assess the condition of the mother and baby.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to the mother during labor.
• Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques.
• Assist with the delivery of the baby and provide immediate postpartum care.
• Monitor and care for newborn infants, including conducting assessments and providing breastfeeding support.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for mother and baby.
• Educate patients and families on newborn care and postpartum recovery.

• Valid nursing license and certification as a registered nurse.
• Previous experience in labor and delivery or obstetrics preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and high‑stress environment.
• Compassionate and patient‑centered care approach.
• Knowledge of fetal monitoring and childbirth techniques.
• BCLS and NRP certification required.
