Registered Nurse; RN Operating Room

Join an independent facility and advance your career. We are looking for experienced Surgical RNs to join our Team. Valley View Hospital is a Level III trauma center with four state‑of‑the‑art surgical suites and a fifth being built. We offer robotics (Exactech, Mako, Stealth, DaVinci), general, eyes, ortho, brain/spine, OB‑GYN, ENT, neuro, plastics, urology, peds, ortho/spine trauma.

Positions are 4‑10 hour day shifts per week, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, with rotating evening/weekend call.

• Call:
  Per 8‑week scheduling period, generally each person is assigned 1 call weekend (Friday 19:00 – Monday 07:00) and 4‑5 weeknight call shifts (19:00 – 07:00). Not set in stone, but that is generally how it is assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• 2 years intraoperative RN experience with routine surgical skills in circulating; scrub experience is a plus
• BLS through the American Heart Association with card in hand before start date
• ACLS through the American Heart Association with card in hand before start date or must obtain within 6 months of hire

• $43.22 /hour – $64.83 /hour (BSN)
• $41.56 /hour – $62.34 /hour (ADN)
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience
• Valley View recognizes a 4 % pay difference for RN‑ADN, BSN, MSN
