Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Join a dynamic and innovative cardiology team in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, supporting both outpatient and inpatient care. This is an exciting opportunity for a Cardiology NP or PA-C with at least two years of relevant experience to work in a high-volume, cutting-edge cardiac program.
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care under the direction of a collaborating physician. The ideal candidate will be confident managing adult patients in both outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding settings and skilled in advanced diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans
- Collaborate with providers on treatment planning and care delivery
- Participate in outpatient cardiology clinics
- Perform inpatient rounding and consults
- Supervise and interpret various stress tests (exercise, echo, nuclear, dobutamine)
- Oversee Tilt Table testing
- Assist with device interrogations
- Monitor for complications and proactively manage patient safety
- Document care and communication accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain compliance with care standards and ethical guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience as an NP or PA
- Master's degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited PA program
- Active, unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license
- Current DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA), active before start date
- Experience with stress testing and device interrogation
- Strong cardiovascular assessment skills
- Ability to function independently and as part of a collaborative team

- Full-time position with relocation assistance available
