RN with current Colorado license in good standing; BLS through American Heart Association; ACLS through American Heart Association;
At least 2 years of RN Radiation Oncology experience
Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology Team to provide continuity and quality patient care. Assess and provide appropriate nursing interventions for patients experiencing issues related to the disease process and treatment. Assist in teaching, counseling, and providing support to patients and families coping with cancer diagnosis and treatment. Serve as a liaison between Radiation Oncology and other healthcare providers, ensuring cohesive patient care.
Evaluate and examine patients alongside the Radiation Oncologist. Provide referrals for alternative resources, including rehabilitation, nursing home care, hospice, and nutritional services.
