American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med-Surg/Acute Care Observation Unit position requiring a CO or compact license and 2+ years of acute care experience.
Details- Med-Surg Adult/Acute Care Observation Unit setting
- Patient population includes ortho surgical, Hybrid Cath Lab procedures/surgeries, and acute/chronic illness cases
- 12-hour day shifts including weekend rotation
- Must agree to participate in call rotation, taking one call shift per 2-week period in place of guaranteed hours if requested due to staffing needs
- Uses Epic EMR
- Active CO or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry or similar RN experience required
- Current flu vaccine required with no exemptions accepted
- Provide high-quality nursing care using specialized knowledge of critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Holiday coverage required
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Facility-provided housing available for rent directly through the facility
