School Counselor

This position's primary goal will be to help students overcome problems that impede learning and to assist them in making educational, occupational, and life plans that hold promise for their personal fulfillment as mature and responsible men and women.

Minimum qualifications:

Requires a valid Arizona Teaching Certificate (twenty- four semester hours in content area and/endorsement, as applicable) for the areas and grades

Counselor

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate

Current application and resume (Internal applicants should submit transfer request) Internal applicants will be considered in accordance with District Policy

Copy of official transcripts or placement

Copy of valid Arizona Teaching

Three (3) current letters of recommendation (if not included in placement file)
