Responsibilities- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment.
- Respond to repair requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all areas of the facility meet cleanliness and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with agency policies and regulations.
- HS diploma or GED with 4 years maintenance or construction experience; AZ driver’s license with clean driving record and be 21 years of age or older.
- Possess home telephone and reliable transportation.
- Ability to maintain landscaping.
- Ability to perform general electrical and plumbing work.
- Ability to maintain inventory and MSDS sheets of custodial supplies.
- Ability to operate basic shop tools and equipment.
- Ability to make minor repairs to basic shop tools and equipment.
- Ability to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
- Possess knowledge of general carpentry and state and city codes.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends on-call.
- Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance and pass a background check.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
