The Operator is responsible for plant production operations, maintenance, and repair of all plant fixed equipment.

• Operate facility in a production mode, maintaining established efficiencies
• Examine and diagnose operational problems, and perform repairs according to accepted methods
• Conduct preventative maintenance practices
• Must be able to perform other related duties such as maintenance/repair and yard loading when needed
• Understand, interpret, and execute instructions given in both verbal and written form
• Schedule or call for repairs and parts
• Recognize potentially hazardous situations
• Adhere to all CEMEX, O.S.H.A., and M.S.H.A rules and regulations at all times
• Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
• Meet or exceed company safety standards
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in operating and maintaining an aggregate facility
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Welding and cutting experience highly preferred
• Core understanding of conveyor belts, shaker screens, sand screws, and cyclone operations
• Ability to work scheduled shift hours and be flexible with scheduling, overtime, and weekends

• Be able to read, write, and speak English
• Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
• Must wear protective equipment while at the location

• Must be able to perform all job functions which include walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, and climbing to a significant degree
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently and 70 pounds occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
• Regularly required to talk and hear to communicate with employees and visitors and to function safely around heavy rolling equipment
• May need to walk or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to perform all job functions which include pushing, turning, and pulling of controls
