Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse - Days Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
Days shift with call responsibilities. Must be willing to float if needed.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to the fast-paced hospital environment. The role requires a commitment to patient care and the flexibility to float to various units as necessary.
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical/surgical unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
- Participate in nursing staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred.
- Flu vaccine is required; no exceptions will be made.
- Ability to float to other units as needed during the assignment.
