Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Night Shift RN for Med-Surg Telemetry and Step Down units. This role requires professional nursing skills to provide quality patient care during overnight hours, with flexible call options.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and promptly respond to changes in condition.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in EMR systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate supplies and operate medical equipment such as pumps and Omnicell systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state endorsement.
• Minimum of 1 year Med-Surg and telemetry or step down experience.
• Proficient in EMR systems, preferably Meditech.
• Knowledge of medical equipment including pumps, Alaris, and Omnicell.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work night shift and adapt to rotating call schedule.
