Registered Nurse - Telemetry/Med-Surg Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights with call responsibilities, 7 PM to 7 AM.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care to patients in the Telemetry and Med-Surg unit. Must be experienced in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple responsibilities, ensuring optimal patient care during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient vitals and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and interactions in the EMR system (Meditech).
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Respond to emergency situations as they arise.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Telemetry and Med-Surg experience preferred.
• Step down experience is a plus, but not required.
• Flu vaccine is required; no exceptions.
• Must abide by the 100-mile radius rule for travelers.
