American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a day shift position in AZ with on-call availability and telemetry experience preferred.
Details- Med/Surg Adult, Observation, and Telemetry Med/Surg unit
- Day shift schedule, 7a-7p with set schedules
- Patient ratios of 1:6 for Med-Surg/Observation and 1:4 for Step Down
- Uses Meditech EMR, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell medication system
- Optional call available during low census periods, rotating with full-time staff
- Active AZ or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Med-Surg and Telemetry experience required
- Step down experience preferred but not required
- Flu vaccine required with no exceptions
- Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be considered
- No more than 3 days of RTO may be requested per 13-week contract
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment without guaranteed hours applying
