- Safely and efficiently maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment and power distribution throughout the plant
- Interpret electrical printouts, installation instructions and work orders
- Troubleshoot electrical problems in power circuits
- Perform work area inspections
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of VFD/motors/starters
- Establish new installation of electrical equipment
Ability to read and draw diagrams. Knowledge of AC and DC control circuits. Minimum of two years of experience, preferably in a mining or industrial environment, is required. PLC experienced preferred. Instrumentation experience preferred. Candidate must be able to identify and analyze electrical/instrumentation problems.
