- Teach French in a 1:1 blended learning environment, implementing project- and inquiry‑based learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators and support staff to design and assess a personalized curriculum aligned to Common Core and 21st‑Century skills.
- Integrate technology and learning management systems to create digital assignments, communicate with students and families, and analyze data for instructional decisions.
- Support and participate in professional learning communities, student personalization groups and differentiation initiatives.
- Communicate school goals and initiatives through print and electronic media.
- Develop partnerships with parents, businesses, higher‑education institutions and community agencies to enhance learning opportunities.
- Apply state, district and school policies, maintain professional conduct, and maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the district.
- Bachelor’s degree and current Rhode Island teaching certification for French or equivalent.
- Commitment to equity and culturally responsive teaching.
- Experience with technology integration, blended learning, and data‑based instruction.
- Knowledge of standards‑based curriculum design, assessment strategies, and professional learning community practices.
- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with students, colleagues, parents, and agencies.
- Adherence to Rhode Island Professional Teaching Standards, Code of Conduct and all applicable laws and policies.
- Valid citizenship or residency status required.
