We’re looking for a Gift Processing Coordinator who wants to make an impact behind the scenes by helping us keep donations flowing smoothly so we can continue connecting people to good food.

The Open Door is a leading food equity organization based in Gloucester on Boston’s North Shore. The organization provides critical food resources to 11,893 people annually. This is an opportunity to use your skills to make a difference. Our mission is to alleviate the impact of hunger in our community.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the backbone of our gift processing work — making sure every donation is recorded accurately, acknowledged promptly, and handled with care.

  • Gift Processing & Reporting: Enter gifts into Salesforce, keep donor records accurate, and run gift reports.
  • Acknowledgments: Prepare weekly thank‑you letters and tribute cards, and handle mail merges, edits, printing, and mailing.
  • General Support: Light office tasks (copying, filing, ordering supplies)

What You’ll Bring
