The Grade 5 Teacher is responsible for providing a structured, engaging, and standards‑based learning environment for all classroom students. This includes developing and implementing lesson plans that adhere to state curriculum frameworks and district guidelines, assessing student progress, fostering a positive classroom culture, and collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student success and well‑being.

• Qualifications:
  Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field from an accredited college or university. Master’s degree preferred.
  Massachusetts Educator’s License in Elementary 1‑6, required.
  Experience working with students with disabilities.
  Demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
  Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  Status: 32.5 Hours Weekly
• Salary:
  Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, in accordance with the Gloucester Public Schools Teacher’s salary schedule. Salary Range – $60,150.00 – $. Inclusive benefits package includes health, dental, vision insurance and retirement options.
