Education Support Professional – Gloucester High School
Location: Gloucester, Massachusetts

Position Type: Full-time
Job DescriptionFulfill regular classroom duties of an Education Support Professional under the supervision of the classroom teacher to support students with disabilities by providing individualized, intensive instruction in all academic areas.
Responsibilities- Provide classroom and educational support services to students under the supervision of the Life Skills classroom teacher for the 2026-27 school year.
- Associate’s Degree or higher; or completion of Para Pro Testing.
- Experience and/or education working with children with special needs, preferred.
- Ability to work cooperatively with classroom teacher(s).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to student success.
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Track record of professionalism and effective collaboration in the workplace.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
Status: 35 Hours Weekly
Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, in accordance with the Gloucester Public Schools ESP salary schedule. Salary Range: $29,355 to $38,268. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and retirement options.
